Blanes está situado en la Costa Brava, en el Mar Mediterráneo, por lo que su clima es el típico del litoral mediterráneo, suave en verano, suave en invierno. El mar hace de este municipio uno de los que mejor clima padecen de la costa gerundense.

La temperatura media anual de Blanes ronda los 17 grados centígrados, y la temporada de lluvias es en otoño, más que en invierno. La tramontana es su viento más conocido.
