The Costa Brava is a truely unique coastline that runs down the province of Girona, and is home to tourist destinations such as Blanes, Cadaqués, San Feliu de Guixols, Lloret de Mar and Rosas among others. With more than 200 kilometres of coastline the Costa Brava offers the mediterranean climate, sweeping landscapes, stunning beaches, delicious food and more than 300 days of sunshine a year. Literally translated as the 'Brave Coast', its easy to understand why, with its rugged and outlandish features surely leading Ferran Agullo to denominate this stretch of coastline in this manner.
Blanes, Cadaqués, San Feliu de Guixols, Lloret de Mar and Rosas are certainly the more touristic destinations available on the Costa Brava, where Golf and Acuatic sports certainly stand out among the different leisure activities available in this region, alongside sunbathing on one of the numerous beaches!
The Costa Brava was once home to the great Salvador Dalí, who was a resident of the town of Cadaqués, which naturally has many museums and exhibitions dedicated to this legendary artist, certainly worth checking out if you are in the area.
In short the Costa Brava has a wealth of hotels, apartments, holidays homes, chalets and campsites available, simply search through what Costasur has on offer and we're sure you'll find your ideal holiday accomodation. |
